Well, for those of you who don't know...I had a problem with too much traffic on my old website. To fix the problem, I just chose to make a new website in a location where they don't care how much traffic you get! So browse around, and be sure to sign my guestbook so I can get some input on what I have done here!
Why Do I Want A Website?...(I Have Been Asked!)
This website was built for more than one reason. The first reason, is that I've always had a website for people I talk to on the internet to get to know me. But there is a special reason this time. I found out on March 1st, 2004 that I was pregnant. My husband and I were both shocked and excited. We had tried for some time, and we couldn't get pregnant. We relocated, got a lot of stress off of our shoulders, and when we least expected it, IT HAPPENED!
We found out on June 17th that we are having a little girl. That is just what we wanted! Her name will be Gracie Mae Helms. I hope that when she is older, this website is still up and running, because I would love to show her everything we have documented just for her. I also feel that this site could help other soon to be moms out there. I've learned alot from people's websites.

Doctor Appointment Updates!

I went into labor on Monday night, 10*25*04. I went to the hospital at 5am Tuesday morning. I was at 2cm, and wasn't going any further. They went ahead and started pitocin. Withing 12 hours they had me up to 33 units, and still no change. My epi had done wore off. Doc said csection. I took my choice of being knocked out rather than my epi be redosed. Gracie arrived at 6:19pm, on Tuesday, October 26th. She was 8lbs 2.3 oz, 22 inches long. The reason I was not making any progress was that she was "sunny side up." She came out with bruises from hitting my pelvic bone the wrong way. So, she's here, and healthy! She's my little girl!
