The easiest way to organize your Digital Photos
-
Do you hate the way your camera's software names your pictures?
-
Do you hate keeping your photo's in a catalog or archive, and
having to drag them out of the archive into a file each time you
want to use them in some other software or document?
-
Is it hard to find the Photo you want because of meaningless or
confusing names?
-
Are you tired of trying to keep track of you pictures and their
content by constantly renaming files, creating directories, and
still have problems finding the pictures you want?
Then Let Digital Photo Handyman© Help !
Features:
-
Instantly re-name your digital photos with whatever text you
desire at the beginning of the file name (so they will be sorted
by subject or whatever), followed by the date and time (they
will be sorted by date/time order!)
-
Set and save the default folder where DPH will look for your
files.
-
Set and save the default file type for your picture files.
-
Instantly select all of the picture files in a folder.
-
Can be used for other files too (like backup sets, zip archives,
etc.)
-
Files will be sorted in Date/Time order when opening from other
applications (like Word©, Word Perfect©, IrfanView©,
Photoshop©, etc.)
NOTE:
I use a Sony Mavica, which records the date and time the
photo was taken as the file creation time. This software
may not work correctly with your camera and files if this
is not the case with the files it creates. (If it does or
does not,
let me know
and I will keep a list of cameras that DPH does and does
not work with)
