Roll Over the Above Picture to Learn More About Each Chakra
|
|
Since the chakras are the point of maximum energy intake, they are very important focal
points of balance within the energy system. If a chakra is imbalanced, disease will result.
The more imbalanced a chakra is, the more serious the disease.
Ultimately a chakra can become blocked and virtually cease to function. This has a progressive
effect throughout the body's system with other chakras attempting to compensate for the inactive
or blocked centre. Additional strain is then produced elsewhere in the energy system. These
stresses may manifest as emotional, mental, or physical conditions. Because our body's system
always seeks to balance itself, to bring us back to a state of harmony, it sends signals to us
and
draws our attention to the problem. On the physical level, this usually manifests itself in the
form of pain or in the onset of disease. Most people do not pay proper attention to their body's
signals until serious medical problems have developed.
Carolyn Myss, PHD, author of Anatomy of the Spirit and Why People Don't Heal and How
They Can has completed a great deal of research developing an understanding of the relationship
between the chakra centres and a person's health and emotional well-being.
The following chart is a partial list of some common ailments, organs affected, and the chakra
centres that pertain to them. The complete list can be found in Anatomy of the Spirit
(pages 96-101). |
