This is our first pumper. It's a 1941 Ford flathead V-8 with an open canopy and a front mount Champion pump. Also in the picture are 14 of the original 29 PCVFD volunteers.
(purchased in 1971)

This is our second pumper. It was purchased two years later. It was taken out of service in the mid 1980's.
This is a 1965 Chevy tanker. It was retired in the mid 1980's.

In addition to the trucks above PCVFD has owned two other trucks for which pictures aren't available. The first was a military deuce and a half. The year of this truck is unknown, but it served as a tanker.

The second was a 1969 Ford gas truck. This truck was converted to and used as a tanker. It was retired in 2001.

This was our brush truck. It's a 1979 Ford Highboy F-350 4wd. This vehicle was purchased used in 1980 with these same factory stripes. It can carry approximately 300 gallons of water which is delivered through a pair of 7/8 inch hoses or a single 1 1/2 inch fire line. Also carried on the truck is an array of wildland fire fighting gear. A generator and two lighting stations are also carried on the truck to provide added light at fire scenes.
