The Parent Advisory Council is always in need of your help and support. Below is a list of all the functions we orchestrate on a yearly basis, which requires many volunteers. If you wish to help with one of our functions, please fill out the form below and a P.A.C representative will contact you. Request for more specific areas of help will be posted as events draw closer. Please check back often and thank you for your help in our quest for a great year for our entire school community!
Welcome back to school from the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)! We want to thank you for your volunteer efforts and donations during the 2003-04 school year. Because of parents like you and the funds that have been raised in previous years, PAC has purchased new equipment for the playground, balls for each classroom, dry erase boards, dictionaries and other school supplies. This year PAC will help supplement the cost of field trips. Let's also keep in mind that with your help and support our students DO NOT do the door-to-door sales like so many other schools. Thanks again in advance! PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE Prepare lunch for staff and cookies for guests. BAKING COOKIES These volunteers are needed many times throughout the year. GRANDPARENT’S DAY Taking pictures, hall guides, greeters, registration, classroom help, helping kitchen make sack lunches. (45 volunteers needed.) TEACHER’S CHRISTMAS LUNCH Serve in the cafeteria or clean-up, cover classroom during lunch. (30 volunteers needed.) CHICKEN & NOODLE SUPPER Cook, serve in cafeteria, clean-up. (50 volunteers needed.) BREAKAST W/BUDDY Serve doughnuts, juice, and clean up before school. (10 volunteers needed.) MARKET DAY Make reminder phone calls, unpack and sort the food before the sales. (10 volunteers needed each month.) AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK Provide snacks for the teachers and staff. MOVIE NIGHT Help with "crowd control" and to sell consession items during intermission.
