1)      New England:  Many years, one player separates himself from the crowd and this looks to be one of those years.  Bellinger’s production and limits, along with a history that makes it look somewhat sustainable, makes you believe he’s the pick.

2)      Glenville:  A pretty common site at the meetings is seeing Coach in a Phillies jersey.  I’m guessing the opportunity to add a favorite, who also checks some boxes on the roster, makes Hoskins the choice.

3)      Creekside:  Brandon Phillips has been thought to be about done for a couple of years now and there’s a great prospect that could ease in as the replacement.  Much to the chagrin of the many White Sox fans in the league, I have Moncada going here.

4)      Gulf Breeze:  I think the commish is in a pickle on this pick.  A 20-year-old Red Sock is ready and able to help his favorite team, but not necessarily the Varks.  I’m going with Happ here to help the OF this year and multiple positions in the future.

5)      Vacant:  Flying a little blind here, with no known favorite team, or draft history to look into.  I’ve got Devers pretty high and expect him to be gone by here.

6)      Longstown:  The biggest mover up the draft ladder has a ton of options here.  With a versatile roster, there are no glaring holes.  I have Albies near the top and this could be his landing spot.

7)      Frankfort:  I see a couple of ways to go here.  With the infield set a stud outfielder might play, but as the team is currently constructed, the Cardinals can have their pick of the pitching litter.  I know there are B’s out there, but I have Montgomery at the top of the pitching heap.

8)      Cleveland:  Cases could be made for a few guys, but I don’t think Al will be able to resist the chance to play a card with 3 1’s on it.  Olson is the choice here.

9)      Marrieta:  With the pitching covered, Bo gets to look at the best sticks available.  Mancini would fill some holes, playing 1st and letting Carpenter go to 3rd.  The 543 ab’s play nicely here as well.

10)   Southport:  With the limits pretty well in check, you look at the SS position, since there is not a true one on the roster.  Then your sort between the prospect in Rosario and the numbers provided by DeJong.  I have Bob going with Rosario.

11)   Indiana:  Chad may be asking if Gordon just had a down year, or if a replacement is needed.  If he chooses the latter, I have Renfroe as the best option.

12)   G Mountain:  Burnie has the Canucks ready to battle next year and even though the pitching limits are covered, another B at the top of the rotation would go a long way in a run.  Bridwell would be the best weapon for a team making a run.

13)   Magic City:  First things first, welcome back brother!  Bryan will take “best available”, so if I was picking his brain and knowing his preference for youngsters, I’ll go out on a limb and see him taking an Oriole for the 3rd straight year and pull Hays from the board.

14)   Vermont:  The starting pitching is pretty short and although I don’t think Dave would pass on a stick he really liked, I think some arms are worthy of the pick here.  Freeland is a former 1st rounder and the 24-year-old lefty provides good limits to boot.

15)   Coastal:  We need to prepare for the fact that this team is going to rake.  Over 300 dongs from the roster going into this year means the Bulldogs will be looking for B’s.  I think Castillo is the next best option among hurlers.

16)   York:  Here is another squad with enough pop to be dangerous.  If Si doubles up with the graded starts from this pick and the #1 rook, he could be looking at another 90-win season.  I’ll say that’s the strategy and insert Faria here.

17)   Kalamazoo:  With an A and 2 B starters, here is another team that is set to contend.  Escobar had a pretty brutal year and DeJong’s 25 dongs provide an immediate upgrade.

18)   New Hudson:  Another squad that a B starter might help, but I think I see sorting between a couple of OF.  I’m going with Margot here.

19)   Sparrow Lake:  Well, I’d say that things looked a little rough for Mark, but he’s on his honeymoon in Grenada (just checked, 83 degrees), so things aint all bad.  It likely needs to be an arm, so the most bang for the buck is Marquez.

20)   Keystone:  The Comanche are well positioned for another run next year, but will rely on Trumbo to man 1b this year.  How about guy with some pop in the youngster from the Mets, Dom Smith.

21)   The next 4 teams are Crosstown, Albany, E. York, and Duneland in the pecking order, but I’ll just add another few names that might be worthy of first round consideration.

Alfaro has the highest upside among catchers.

Arroyo is another kid with good upside and likely to start.

Candelario is from that stout Cubbie farm system.

Zimmer came in with a good amount of fanfare.

Frazier comes from that Yankee hype machine

Fisher might need a trade to reach his full potential.

Blackburn the B, is still out there.
