Tribute To Antionette K. FitzSimons

April 27th, 1942-August 8th, 2002

I was so shocked on June 15th, 2002
The day I was called with the news.
That you have termnial cancer and was given 9 months to live.
I didn't know what to say, I couldn't breathe.

I wept so hard,but couldn't understand
why this would happen to someone who gave so much of herself to everyone.
who never judged, who never lied,
An Angel on Earth, thats for sure!!!!<.

I learned forgiveness, thanks to you
I learned so many things, thats hard to put in words.
But most of all I learned the real meaning of love.

Well it hasn't even been two months and you passed away.August, 8th, 2002.
I was with you when you took your last breath.
I was amazed at the peacefulness, and just knowing you were Home at Last.
Gives me a comfort I will never forget.

You touched everyone
even if you only met them once.

"A Mother's Love"
A mother's love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may,
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away.
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking.

It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems.
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation--
A many splendored miracle
we cannot understand
And another wonderous evidence
of Gods tender guilding hand.

I LOVE YOU MOM !!!
