MAKING THE WALLS TRANSPARENT

INDIANA STYLE!

I'm Joanna Ferris, retired from the legal profession, long-time legal advisor for the original MTWT in FLORIDA, and director of MTWT Connecticut Style.

As of today, April,15, 2004, what you see on this site is basic information shared on the IN DOC website.  You, the prisoners, families, and ex-and-current DOC employees who are knowledgable of the system will write the rest.

We all know how corrupt and destructive any system can get if it is not monitored.  Mass incarceration and human warehousing creates it's own horrors.   If we watch our prisons closely now, perhaps we can prevent Florida's Problems from ever happening here in Indiana.

If you have any information that will make the walls of Indiana's prisons more transparent please contact me, Joanna Ferris, Director MTWT Indiana

*NOTE:  In any of our work, "cops" refers to irresponsible and/or immoral police officers, just as "guard" refers to the same breed of quot;Correctional" Officers. We have the utmost respect for people who do these difficult jobs in a professional manner, always remembering that they are dealing with human beings. For the price we pay and the risks of failure, we cannot afford to tolerate sloppy efforts nor criminal behavior in these positions of power over others.
