Speedway Information:

Montpelier Motor Speedway is celebrating over a century of racing competition, starting in 1903 with horse racing. This year the track will be racing a full program of UMP Open-Wheeled Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, Super Stocks and Thunder Cars every Saturday night throughout the summer months. Joining them for some special Saturdays this summer will be the exciting MMSA Mini Sprints and Crate Late Models, plus a demolition derby at the end of the season. The track is a scenic slightly banked 1/4 mile dirt oval with no backstretch retaining walls. The track area has many open acres for camping with many new facilities added during 2002.

Although we base our Season Championships on points earned throughout the course of the racing season, all drivers are welcome and encouraged to compete on any Saturday evening.
