HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

Independence Day, a great AMERICAN
celebration! The day set aside each year to
celebrate independence from the tyranny of
British rule prior to 1776

Independence Day is a day to show our
national pride, and to be patriotic!
It's a day of picnic's and barbecues, For too
many it's not Independence Day at all, but
simply the Fourth of July, A day to kick back
and forget about work!

It's all of these and its more, it's a day
to remember those who fought for OUR
great nations independence, and I think a day
when we should all consider our "interdependence"
as well! Ours is a nation "of the people, by the people
and for the people," at times it seems that this
concept is fading, or being eroded, but this is
not really true. The beauty of our system of
government is that it is forever changing, and
truly is "By the People"

UNITED WE STAND, and its because we
stand united that we are able to celebrate
our Independence. So when you go out tonight
to watch the fireworks display, look around yourself

These are your fellow Americans!

Perhaps not all are like you, there are rich and,
poor, there are many ethnic backgrounds, and colors
some very intelligent and some maybe not as
gifted. If you do this, you will be looking at

"WE THE PEOPLE"

These are the people along with yourself
that are responsible for our government's
future. INDEPENDENCE and FREEDOM come
at a price. Those who fought and died for our
FREEDOM paid all they had to give, we
individual Americans have a responsibility to
CARE about our government, to be informed
and at a minimum to vote!

To be "WE THE PEOPLE," and to
STAND UNITED means just that, being
involved to at least some degree, and assuring
that ours is forever a government.......

"BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

NOW SOMEBODY PASS ME A HOT DOG!
