RATES & FEES
My rates can be separated into 4 types of research services:
hourly; census; cemetery photography; complete line researching
HOURLY RESEARCH (This type of researching for obits/news articles, specific data,any record searching)
$10.00 per hour of research with a two-hour minimum CENSUS LOOKUPS (A one time $10.00 base fee will also be applied to this, if you are searching
for multiple years; the flat hourly rate may best serve you)
$5.00 per census year for a specific individual/family in a specific county TOMBSTONE PHOTOGRAPHY
(A one time $10.00 base fee will also be applied to this as some of these
cemeteries are quite remote and require travel.)
$2.50 per tombstone photograph with a $5.00 minimum plus postage. $10.00 per cemetery video plus postage--this to include either entire cemetery
COMPLETE LINE RESEARCHING
This will be done on a hourly basis with a minimum prepayment for 4 hours($40.00) before
I begin the work.This is
not to give the impression that this is the total cost. The total cost would
be determined by the length of time researching, copies desired & postage, any additional costs.Please

I regret that I will no longer be able to just do
simple information searches via email prior to a payment as I had been doing.
I gave away too much in free services that way, and payments were never received. That
is the basis for the prepayment at this time. When done that way, many thought the
info was a gift and I simply cannot afford to do that and run a business
plus copy fees and postage.
I do request prepayment of the first two hours of research before I begin my work ($20.00).

Copies of census pages are $1.00 each.
This service is only available for the months of April-October (Indiana weather conditions).
The fees I charge are for my time spent researching and not for the information itself.
