Even in western Washington, there are a few weather events that are camera-worthy. This spring it was mostly hail.

A lenticular cloud is formed when air rises to clear a mountain, then is blown down wind. In this case, Mount Rainier.

I did not take this but decided to put it in here. It was Tacoma's only waterspout this spring.
