We believe that God has led us in the forming of this fellowship, that we might come together for the sharing of ministerial resources toward the common good and, we pray, the winning of more souls.
This direction stems from our shared belief that at this point in history, mainstream, denominational Christianity has become, generally speaking, far too liberal and often times works oriented, delivering a watered down and more politically correct version of the Gospel message. In doing so the same has forsaken the teaching of the Blood of Christ as the only means of atonement and trust in Him as the sole means of salvation.
Likewise, we believe that said conditions have caused several of the greatest downfalls in the modern church and it is our intent to strive to rectify three of these. The first being that many sincere believers have withdrawn from the organized church, seeking elsewhere the faith and fellowship found solely in the presence of the Christian family. The second being that the state of ministry has been reduced in many cases to little more than a lukewarm friendship. The third being that the once powerful missionary charge of the Body of Christ is now nearly dead.
We believe that the time has come for sincere, Bible believing Christians to not only re-embrace the evangelical calling, but also to become more active than ever before in the work of educating new Christians in the proper manner in which to live according to scripture. Furthermore, the members hereof have committed to engage daily, both individually and as a body, in an effort to reach the following goals. First and foremost, to exalt our Lord, Jesus Christ, in all things. Second, to win souls to Him through active witnessing as to the atoning power of His blood. Third, to educate, edify and empower future leaders of both this fellowship and the Body of Christ as a whole.
We believe in the power of agreement between Christian brethren and the need to further formalize this fellowship of believers, which having been formed in Christian love for the purpose of furthering the endeavor toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission, has since done so unswervingly. We, the members, do therefore hereby formalize said bond of fellowship and present this covenant of faith, that our hearts might be sealed in trust and service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, agreeing that those statements of faith which shall be put forth in the following covenant of faith shall be held as the guiding principles of this body, so long as it shall exist.
