For those of you familiar with the Mechwarrior: Dark Age timeline, this is an alternative created by myself and a few friends down at Mordel's Bar and Grill.
Major Changes from the MW:DA Timeline:
1) The Chaos March continues to exist. Defended by independent mercenaries as
well as militia troops, the Houses cannot completely claim the area but do their
best to sabotage the other's attempts. Eventually, many of the worlds are
recognized by the Star League.
2) The Word of Blake Jihad didn't go nearly as well thanks to a spy. Terra goes
back to Comstar.
3) Marik doesn't slide into complete chaos, though they get a civil war and lose
some worlds to the Capellans. Afterward, they become united for once.
4) The Star League does not disband, though it doesn't get involved in all
conflicts.
5) Lyran Alliance becomes the Lyran Commonwealth because Peter changed the name
back.
Sphere Governments:
1) Yvonne gets her five years military service and become First Princess instead
of Regent. She goes on to be a much loved leader of the people.
2) Peter continues doing that Archon thing he does. The LCAF begins to slowly
crawl out of their sinkhole, as does the Lyran Economy.
3) The FRR merges with the GBD and is recognized by FedSuns and Lyran
Commonwealth.
"Average" Tech Levels:
1) "Big" Periphery States: Level 1, Level 1 1/2.
(Level 1 1/2 are often refitted Level 1 machines that don't use the new
technology very well. Some examples can be found in the TRO:3050.)
2) Inner Sphere Houses: Level 1, Level 2
3) Comstar: Level 2, Level 3
4) Clans: Clan Tech
5) Clan Wolverine: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Clan Tech
6) Pirates: Similar to Wolverine.
7) Chaos March and "Little" Periphery States: Level 1
Ideas for More Warfare:
1) The Chaos March remains a place where anything can happen. (3067-Whenever)
2) Resumption of the Invasion by some Clans when the Truce of Tukayyid expires.

3) Marik Civil War, the REAL Thomas Marik eventually takes over and unites the
Chaotic League. (3070-3073)
4) CapCon invasion of Federated Suns and later the Free Worlds League. (3068 and
3072-73)
5) The Jihad will happen, but not on the same scale as MW:DA. (3072-3076)
6) Heavy raids continue in the periphery spearheaded by the Circinus Federation
and Marian Hegemony. The Outworlds Alliance is busy taking the fight to the
pirates that have been pillaging them so long.
Mercenary Madness:
1) The Gray Death Legion will be rebuilt.
2) No one can seem to pinpoint the strength of Wolf's Dragoons, so for now, any
action on that part is frozen pending the revised FM: Mercenaries. The major
opinion seems to be "Leave them alone." so I'll most likely do that.
Clan Wolverine:
Somewhat Sphere and somewhat Clan, the Wolverines will forever be a thorn in the
other Clans' sides. Relations with the Inner Sphere are friendly, but cool. I'll
give'em a spot in the Periphery.
