Stejneger's beaked whale

Mesoplodon stejnegeri

AKA: Bering Sea, saber-toothed or North Pacific beaked whale

Stejneger's beaked whales are brownish with light gray to white undersides, the head generally lighter than the belly. Two teeth exposed in males. They can grow to about 5.25 meters and roam subarctic waters. They seem to eat mostly squid.
