Commerson's dolphin

Cephalorhyncus commersonii

AKA: skunk dolphin, piebald dolphin, black and white dolphin, puffing pig, jacobite

Commerson's dolphins are small and have no beak. They are black with white underside and have black spots connecting both flippers and on the genital area. Their dorsal fin is rounded and they grow to about 1.7 meters. Commerson's dolphins may be found in shallow temperate waters and eat fish, squid and crustaceans.
