Baird's beaked whale Berardius bairdii AKA: North pacific or northern giant bottlenose whale; giant, northern or north pacific four-toothed whale Baird's beaked whales have a long tube-like beak with the lower jaw longer than the upper and teeth that are visible with the mouth closed. They are gray with lighter undersides with white spots. Body is long (11 meters), with a big head and small, rounded fins. Baird's beaked whales may be found in the North Pacific and eat fish, squid and crustaceans.
