Atlantic white-sided dolphin Lagorhyncus, lagenorhyncus or langenorchynchus acutus AKA: jumper, springer, Atlantic white-sided porpoise, lag Atlantic white-sided dolphins are black with yellowish bellies and white sides. They have short beaks and falcate dorsal fins and inhabit the temperate waters of the North Atlantic ocean. Jumpers stay mostly offshore and eat fish, squid and crustaceans. They grow to about 2.5 meters (males are generally a bit bigger than females).
