"Keep On Trucking" - - design
This is the design for my "Keep On Trucking" engraving, so you have an idea of what the initial concept looks like. My client (Tri-State Memorials, Auburn, IN) was very particular about this one, so I fully drafted the truck in a 2-point perspective. I purposely narrowed up the 2-point to give the illusion of the truck coming right at you.
"Keep On Trucking"
This is the actual engraving for "Keep On Trucking". I was really pleased with how it turned out. The sand blaster was very inventive with his idea to engrave the name right into the side of the trailer. An image such as this I would charge $250-400 depending on how far I'd have to travel.
"Walking Man"
This was an interesting work. The only stipulation the family had was they wanted an elderly gentleman walking into the sunset. They wanted him walking with a particular walking stick (photo was available). Beyond that I pretty well had creative freedom. Naturally I really enjoyed that, so I decided to create a positive image to - I hope - ease the suffering of the family. I tried to depict the representative of their loved one walking not just into the sunset, but into paradise itself. That's the whole reason for the twin streams, mountains, birds, etc.
