ENFIELD  No4  Mk1

There looks to be a 1943 date stamped on the upper handguard and the serial stamp is  W 22XXX A

The barrel reciver bolt and magazine and upper handguard all have matching serial numbers

The lower handguard looks like Australian Coachwood and the the Butt Stock like Birch

The arrows show pitting

                Mk 3 sight                                                      The metal shows as well worn and pitted all the wood shows abuse as well


The upper handguard is stamped matching the rifle serial but the lower handguard looks like the Aussie Coachwood
