The Second Saturday

*Click on picture for better view*

This is the guest bedroom that I occupied while vacationing in Puerto Rico.

This is a picture of a design etched into the tile wall in the upstairs bathroom.

A picture of the gate on the doorway leading down the stairs.

The rec room.

This is the outside patio area.

This is the front gate at the house.

Joaquin and Ada’s house.

I just had to get a picture of this. The man has a banana tree in his yard!!!

Joaquin’s pride and joy: his yard and garden.

A closer view of the back of his yard.

Around the side of his house, he has a little area where he put a fountain.

They’re kind of hard to see, but they’re there. Two lizards were walking around and I tried to get a picture of them. Unfortunately, whenever I got close enough to get the picture, they’d scamper away.

A picture of a lizard on a pole.

The beach at Isla Verde.

The waves at Isla Verde were huge that day.

Adita getting into the water at Isla Verde.

Adita at Isla Verde.

Me at Isla Verde. These were the last pictures I took on the beach.

This was the alley we had to walk through to get to the beach. You can see the beach at the end.

Same alley except I’m now facing the street.

This a picture of the Isla Verde strip taken from the walkway going over the stip and highway.

The walkway leading over the highway and Isla Verde stip.

A picture of Adita’s neighborhood taken from the walkway.

This is the guard and gate leading into the neighborhood.

A street in Adita’s neighborhood.

I had to get a picture of this house in Adita’s neighborhood. Look at this thing. You could go blind if you stare at it to long!

A picture of Adita’s house from down the street.

Adita took this picture to document how burnt I was. The sunlight in the background kept it from coming out well, but you can sort of tell the extent of the damage.

The whole fried red snapper that Joaquin insisted I’d never be able to finish on my own.

I proved him wrong!!!
