Hot tears burn the bars of my cage in front of my eyes,
In anger.
Naked in the moonlight,
Crouched in the dirt in the cage in the dark,
In fear.
Drowning in the desert,
An empty hole full of empty sentiment and nothing is left,
In sorrow.
Nothing I could ever say,
Would ever change things,
Nothing I could ever do,
Would make it right.
Biting the Black Death,
Slashing blindly, the rotting smell inflames my senses,
In hatred.
White waters free from pain,
Warm unreal tricks take me, transport me to my only peace,
In sleep.
Crushing boulders on my back,
Pain as far as the eye can see and as far as the hand can touch,
In life.
Nothing I could ever say,
Would ever change things,
Nothing I could ever do,
Would make it right.
