Tennis League Information
If the weather does not permit play on one of the Thursday nights, the make up night will be Friday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Each week your match results will be recorded. At the end of the six weeks, the boy and girl with the highest winning percentage (total games won / total games played) will be recognized with an award. You must play a minimum of five matches.
Matches consist of two sets. If you split sets, a tiebreaker will be played instead of a third set. The tiebreaker counts as ONE GAME PLAYED. Therefore if you win a tiebreaker it is counted as winning one game.
Example: If you win 6-0 4-6 (7-4):
Games Won: 11
Games Played: 17
Winning Percentage: 65%
***If you know you will miss a Thursday night, please contact Matt Freel or Norm Bruemmer as soon as possible. We will help you organize a make up match in order for you to qualify for the award at the conclusion of the league. These make up matches will be on your own time, but the scores you report will be used in the calculation of your winning percentage.***
