Alexander P. Bradshaw is my earliest documented ancestor in this line.Alexander was born January 13, 1807 in Kentucky and he later married Elizabeth Allison on November 1, 1832 in Nicholas county, Kentucky. The couple migrated to Indiana between 1838-1840 and settled in the Clinton township area of Putnam county. The family most likely attended the Brick Chapel church there, as they are all buried in the adjoining cemetery. Alexander and Elizabeth died within 1 month and 4 days of each other in 1881.Although Alexander did leave a will it is very concise in leaving all to his wife and grandchildren; and leaves very little other information. I am joined with this line through my Jones line, as their daughter, Rutha married John G. Sweeney and they had a daughter who married Thomas J. Jones. In researching in the Nicholas county Kentucky area, I find a few possibilities for the parents of both of them, however, none of these choices has ever been proven as connecting to my line. This couple had 8 children and it is my feeling that there must be descendants somewhere of this line. If you are interested in this family line, I urge you to contact me for further information.
