No mother should be put through what the Crestwood Police Department and the Illinois State Police have forced me to endure. Losing my only child is hard enough.No one should have to receive the harsh treatment I have been given by them. Even Governor Ryan (whose office is now under investigation for taking bribes) wrote me to tell me that there is nothing that they can do. I feel so alone in this battle for Justice for my son.....this battle for a decent investigation.

I have very good reason to believe that his death was automatically treated as a suicide by the Crestwood Illinois Police Department. His manner death was ruled Undetermined and his cause of death was listed as carbon monoxide poisoning. There was no source of carbon monoxide near his body. His little dog was fine. His life had been threatened prior to his death. There was a tape left in the tape player in the garage which contained the song "The killing of the big pig" I have that tape...the police did not take it into evidence. Guess they never bothered to play it. I worked for years now trying to get a decent investigation into my son's death. I finally, after years of trying...did receive a letter from Terrance Gainer, Director of the Illinois State Police telling me that as per his conversation with Chief Hefly, at that time Chief of Police in Crestwood Illinois and from Lt. Davis, Illinois State Police Department, that the evidence in Jimmie's case would not be dystroyed and was safe and secure.. He is no longer Director of the Illinois State Police..he has moved on to Washington....he is now Executive Assistant Chief I believe. And there seems to be no evidence preserved. I had Jimmie;s body exhumed at my own expense and on Feb.7, 2000 his body was reautopsied by Dr. John Heidingsfelder. It was then discovered that no carbon monoxide was present in any of the tissues in my son's body. The evidence was requested from the State of Illinois.....yesterday I received a call from Lt. Chris Casey , Illinois Police Department. She said that evidently the frozen blood samples were dystroyed. She said that there may be negatives of photographs from the crime scene and she is going to check into that and if they have them will forward them on to the doctor. I saw these photographs in June 1996. I have been informing Crestwood, and the State of Illinois that I was pursueing an independent death investigation time and time again. I would like to remove Jimmie's body from the freezer where it has been stored pending studies from the second autopsy. I have been delaying putting his body to final rest due to the fact I have been waiting and waiting for Illinois to turn over the evidence to the doctor. This has been so hard for me to go through and the waiting for evidence has made it so much worse. . I have been put through a hell that no mother should have to endure. Please look over the next few pages...I know it seems like alot of reading but it does not take long to read. I have much more, like letters from the Mayor of Chicago telling me that he has nothing to do with the coroners office in Cook County; I wrote to him when they had told me that they made so many mistakes because they are busy..and that my son commited suicide even though in the next statement told me that they were not familiar with the autopsy. So far I am still waiting to find out what happened to my son's kidneys. There was no kidney tissue recognizable in the organ bag when reautopsy studies were done. There is so much I have to say.....perhaps when you read the links below you will understand somewhat the hell I am being put through. Please help me by running my story if you hve a media connection or passing it on to others. I pray that you, the public, will help .....I don't know where else to turn. Jimmie would not leave his little dog locked up with no food....and go kill himself knowing his dad would not be home for days..he loved that dog like a child. He would have made arrangements for him
