well hello there! my name is christa and YES, friends, i am out here defending my country in a most proper and military way! oh yes... as i type this i have been out in the arabian gulf for over 80 days... that is a long time... i am getting restless... you all know what happened to the uss cole, and all i can say is THAT is why we are still here and not in australia like we all thought we'd be by now....BUT! they have an *approximate* return date! december 22nd... so maybe JUST maybe i'll be able to see san diego again this year! yea-HOOO! so anyawy, here's some random pictures of me on the boat... if you think i'm acting silly, i would invite YOU to come out here and be confined to a hunk of steel in the middle of the water with the same 300 people day in and day out...
