SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IF WE ARE A HOME SCHOOL?

Home schools are welcome to attend.

WHAT IF IT RAINS ?

We do not cancel because of rain.   If rain seems eminent, then come prepared for it. Have the kids wear caps, rain coats and boots or bring a supply of garbage bags so  they can cut holes for their head and arms to slip over their body.   This will keep

them dry.   It has been our observation that kids love the rain and don't seem to mind getting a little (or totally) wet.   For those who would rather stay dry, there will be a 40 ft. x 80 ft. tent plus other large tents, log houses, and a metal building to take refuge. If the parking area for buses gets too muddy they will be asked to park at the fairgrounds parking lot.

can we buy or should we bring our lunch ?

You can have the kids bring their lunch or they can purchase it from one of the food venders at the event.

do we need to inform you of changes in the number of students we are bringing to the event ?

Yes, if the number of students and teachers changes substantially  from the original registration form,  we would like to know.  84ind@comcast.net  or call 1-765-499-0039

BECAUSE YOU SENT US A REMINDER, WE WERE WONDERING IF YOU RECEIVED OUR CONFIRMATION ?

The reminder is intended for those schools who have not yet sent in their registration forms and also to remind everyone  that the event is getting near.

what about the handicapped ?

There are no paved trails, whoever, handicapped parking is available and much of our attractions are near the handicapped parking area which is paved.  Also, the handicapped person has the option of  riding on the "Mule Skinners Wagon."  This will give him or her the opportunity to see the military camps, battlefield and log houses located on the far side of the grounds.

what IF I LOSE AN ITEM AT THE EVENT ?

Report all lost items at the registration tent near the entrance.  If you find an item that doesn't belong to you, take it to the registration tent.  After leaving the event you can call either (765) 348-4319 or (765) 348-9163.

what IF we do not get registered in time ?

You can still come or call (765) 499-0039.

what IF we did not get a confirmation  for our registration submitted?

You can still come or call (765) 499-0039 for the confirmation or any additional information that you may need.
