This portion of our page will be used to tell stories about campouts and to talk about recent events in which we have participated. Soon we will have some pictures to put on here. Hopefully we can even get a picture of Allans mangled backpack. Which he doesn't like to talk about.

Right now we have 9 active scouts in our troop. Five of them went on a campout this past weekend to Wagoner Pond. We had a very nice relaxing time.

Wagoner pond is a pond located in Story, Indiana. We, as a troop have adopted it because the troops one and only eagle scout did his project out there. We try to get out there once a year to do some maintenance. This weekend we cleared out trash and things we found around the area.

Allan Headley, our Committee Chairman, went along on the trip and found out why you never leave your backpack on the edge of the back window of the Suburban. On Sunday morning as Al was backing the burb up he thought it would be a good idea to also run over his backpack. It was pretty funny stuff.

The next campout after the Wagonner pond trip was up to Turkey Run State Park. We had a very good attendance there. We did about a five mile hike on Saturday morning and I for one was amazed at all the beautiful things on the trail.

Later that night Larry, Steve, Peg, Donna, and I all decided to play some Euchre. Well Peg and I ended up being partners and the first game we played Peg got the opportunity to milk the cow. We all know how very excited she was about that. The picture of that should be forth coming.

The Wapahani bike trip was a success. Unfortunately I was unable to attend. The guys that went had a good time and got a little muddy in the process.

Here are some summer Camp '99 Pictures.

Heres me giving summer camp the thumbs up.

Geory doesn't know this is going up, but it is a picture of her in Australia holding a wombat.
