Once upon a time, in the year 2000, some scientists found something they weren't supposed to be messing with and all of Antarctica went boom. Then there was lots flooding, and lots of people died. Well, eventually, humanity managed to rebuild itself. In fact, they made everything even better than it was before. Of course, there weren't quite as many people as before, but oh well. Anywho, some of the scientists that discovered the thing they weren't supposed to find(which was an angel) they figured the Angels would be a bit pissed. So they built a city on the geofront as a sort of fort, and began creating the Evangelions. Now, fifteen years after second impact, the angels return, and it's up to NERV and the Eva pilots to save humanity.
