The Sideline of Tell City has long been quite a unique section of the Marching band. Because of Tell City's size, the band is forced to allow eighth graders from the local junior high to come in and play sideline percussion, sort of introducing them to the realm of THE LINE as well as gaining experience in the Marching Band. The eighth graders that are chosen by the directors of the band have mostly been hard working, motivated, and persevering students who enjoy working with students at the High School level.
Members of this year's sideline percussion section are Cortney Cail, Ashley Gilbert, Alishia Shreve, Yukako Kawaguchi, Keisuke Kawaguchi, Adrienne Etienne(also a drum major), and Mike Dowland. They have proven to be one of the better pit sections we have had in a long time. Their reputation has been growing over the years and they are well known as one of the better sections of the band.

Sonia is an exchange student from Germany and has been our savior. She was only with us for one year while she was here studying, but she couldn't have come at a better time. She picked up on the music so fast that she was playing with the ensemble the first night she came in. We definitely wish she could have been around longer.
