Peace.///////////////////////////////////////////////// October 27, 2004 - Again, apologies for the lack of updates. A compilation featuring myself and other talented underground artists will be released very soon. It is entitled "Revolve: Tree Comp." and is unlike any other compilation you've ever heard. As most compilations are merely a collection of varied tracks by various artists, the artists of this compilation are united under one common theme, "Tree." Each track reflects the individual artists interpretation of the topic, hence the main title: "Revolve." Each artist will also feature a page in the CD booklet which they have contributed. This is really going to be something special... The 'Slange: Defined' EP will soon be re-released with new tracks, liner notes including lyrics, and brand new artwork. Promo copies of the original version (without new tracks) are now available on minidisc. Email your mailing address to jaredlange911@hotmail.com to receive a copy. The EP is a collaboration between Slange and Chicago producer, Ill Defined... Slange has joined forces with Scotland beatsmith, Zucotic, to form The Navigators. Two tracks have already been recorded, one of which will be featured on Zucotic's new solo project. The Navigators are scheduled to begin recording an EP entitled "Quit Dreaming" once Zucotic's solo project is under wraps. This is anticipated to be an exciting project and very different from Slange's previous works. The first track recorded by the duo tentatively titled "Prophecy of a Burning Bush" and is a poetical statement on the current political climate, particularly undeclared and unjust war... Slange has also just completed his first mini-book of poetry. Clocking in at just over 50 pages, the booklet is titled "All over The Place." The title itself is a visually play on words, and you'll have to look at the cover to comprehend it. However, it is very possible that this artistically encoded title will not be decipherable by all that view it the first time. However, to Slange the risk is worth a chance to motivate the mind into thinking... That's all the news for now. In closing, all those 18 y/o/a and older be sure to get out and vote this coming Tuesday November 2nd. Whether or not your vote actually counts in deciding the future president, it can still send a strong message and allow the voice of the People to be heard. Don't silence yourself. Please vote...
