~*~Precious's Opinion Column~*~

Welcome, everyone to my column. I'm Precious and I'm a very opinionated woman. So, if you don't want to hear my opinion or think it might offend you, I ask you to leave now.

I write about whatever is on my mind pertaining to wrestling. Today I would like to speak on many different issues. I do not stick to one federation, I talk about which ever is on my mind.

First off, I believe the World Wrestling Federation is a great organization. But, the Stephanie McMahon and Triple H storyline seems to be dragging itself out a little too long. I don't think I've ever missed seeing Vince McMahon on screen so bad. It is a good storyline but it's taking too long to get anywhere. Every night it seems to repeat itself. It would be a great ending to find out Steph was working from the inside to break up DX, but they need to make it a little more spicy. Night after night the shows have been predictable and what fun is that? As far as DeGeneration X, I'm a fan but I don't like it when they're heels. I don't want to see them break up but right now they deserve it, sorry. It hurts me to say it but I think they need to break up to get back the way they used to be. On the other hand, I loved the return of Cactus Jack. Mick Foley will be a name committed to memory for a very long time, a legend. Not for falling off the top of a cage or falling through one but both and many more things he has done. Ever time someone says Mankind most people think of the "Hell in a Cell" match but not me. I think of the birth of Socko, the great matches he has had with and against The Rock, him winning the World Heavyweight Title, and so much more. He is an excellent author, entertainer, wrestler, father, husband, and friend. Those are the things he should be known for. He pores his heart and soul into his matches so his fans get everything they could ever ask for out of his matches. He is a man who deserves everything in life and I wish him anything he could ever ask for. Let's talk about Kurt Angle. I'll give the man his dues, he is an excellent wrestler and gold medalist, but enough is enough. I hated when WCW made Goldberg undefeated and I don't like Kurt Angle being undefeated either. I like the way the WWF has made it happen though. Through disqualifications and letting him lose tag matches. Yes, he is an Olympic gold medalist but he just started out in the WWF and there are so many more wrestlers that deserve a push before he should get one. Now, on to the Women's World Title. Miss Kitty might be a great woman but unless she can do some wrestling that we have failed to see then she shouldn't have the belt. I really thought the women's division was going to get somewhere, but now we're back to where we started. I mean Ivory, Tori, Jacqueline, Luna, and Trishia (coming soon) can wrestle and I think we deserve to see that belt held by someone who can call themselves the WWF Women's Champion. I would like to see some actually wrestling matches out of the women's division. Either that or there shouldn't be a women's title. While I'm on the subject of the women I would like to ad that Tori needs to get a better angle, she is a good wrestler and I don't like the psycho hiding behind Kane angle she's got going at all. Now I'm going to talk about the tag team division. There are many different excellent tag teams in the WWF. The New Age Outlaws, The Rock and Sock Connection, The Acolytes, The Dudley Boys, The Hardy Boys, Edge and Christian, Too Cool, The Hollys, etc. Here's what I think, The Rock and Mankind are a great tag team and great singles competitors but for a while, as far as the tag belts, I think they should stick to competing for gold separately. The New Age Outlaws have proven time and time again that they are an amazing tag team and great tag team champions, but I think it's time they go for singles and let some other tag teams prove their worth in the WWF. They have proven they are as great at singles competition, but not as much as they have at tag team competition. The Acolytes are defiantly a tough tag team, and one of my favorites for the matter. They deserve to go for the gold but so do other teams. Faarooq and Bradshaw definitely go together. Let's move on to The Dudley Boys who have, in my opinion, improved a lot since they first came to the WWF. They are getting a major push and I don't see any reason they shouldn't. They play good heels. It would be nice to see them with a title shot or even for them to get the belts, but not for them to hold on to them forever. I mean another one of my favorites are The Hardy Boys, probably the best high flying tag team I've ever seen. No, they are not huge guys but they pack power and intensity which I admire. This tag team is not scared to go to the extreme and I love that about them. They put on an excellent show and right not they have my vote for Tag Team Champions. Don't get me wrong Edge and Christian are a good tag team and great high flyer but I would love to see them in more singles competition right now. Now, Too Cool is a good tag team but I'm just not a fan, I like Rakishi Fatu but Too Cool, there's just something about them. Like the worm move that Scottie 2 Hottie does, I mean what the ? I am waiting for someone to move out of the way of that move and they never do, it's too weird not too cool. The Holly Cousins, I don't really think deserve a the tag gold right now but I do like them. I like the way if they lose a match they get into a fight with each other but the next day they come back together to fight another match. It's just like family really is, they fight and the next day everything is fine, lol. Okay that's it for my tag team discussion. I can't wait for the return of The Undertaker or Shamrock. Which it is rumored that Shamrock will be out awhile longer doing some other things. I also am awaiting the debut of Taz. He was great in the ECW and I think he'll make his place known in the WWF. I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say as far as the World Wrestling Federation at this time.

Okay, now for World Championship Wrestling, which I believe is getting better by the day. People complained because it didn't get better the first week Russo and Ferarra started, but I say give them time people. WCW has a great group of wrestlers with amazing ability, Russo and Ferarra needed time to see what worked for each wrestler. I would like to start off with the return of the nWo, which I loved. I am a huge nWo fan and I love the new nWo. I like the way they have stated that this time they won't make the same mistakes by making the group so big and it will only hold the most elite wrestlers. I am definitely not a Hogan fan so my favorite part is him not being in it. I am a fan of Kevin Nash (my favorite wrestler), Bret Hart, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Hall (as one half of the outsiders), and Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner (not a huge fan but I like him). Before this new nWo I would have said my favorite was the Wolfpac because it had Nash and Sting. If Sting joined this nWo it would be the most awesome group in wrestling history, but of course it is only my opinion and probably won't happen. Now, they are acting like they are going to split up the nWo and I definitely hate that idea. The nWo was probably the most known group in wrestling for a while and the return of them is excellent. I would be heart broken if they disbanded the nWo forever. I would like to talk about some wrestlers individually now. First off, my personal favorite, Kevin "Big Sexy" Nash who in my opinion is one of the best this business has ever seen. Weather he's a heel or a face I will stand behind him. I think he would make an excellent commissioner of WCW and it would lead to great storylines in the future. I also believe when Scott Hall returns they defiantly deserve a title shot, they are, in my mind, the true WCW World Tag Team Champions. On to Bret Hart, I am so glad he's the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, he deserves it. It's about time they put him back in the main events. He is another wrestler that I consider one of the best. I love him being in the nWo and hope they don't make it so he leaves or gets kicked out, I would hate that. Jeff Jarrett is the self proclaimed Chosen One. Well, he probably is but he deserves it. He has talent and character, he is an excellent wrestler and entertainer. I don't think he got the push or storylines he deserved in the WWF and now he is. Some say he doesn't deserve it but I ask them to actually watch him, how smooth and comfortable he is on the mic and in the ring, then tell me what you think. As for the Filthy Animals, I believe they will get more of a storyline when all their members are finally healed up and back in the ring. Rey Mysterio, Jr. is one of the best high flyers I have ever watched and I enjoy his matches a lot, the same goes for Kidman. As far as Madusa, she is a great wrestler also and I believe she deserves that belt. I hope she beats the pants off Oklahoma (which I despise for making fun of J.R.). Actually let's keep the pants on we don't want to scare everyone away. Juvi is funny but I don't like his little "making fun of The Rock" gimmick. There is no way he could ever be The Great One and I think he needs to lay off. As for the "Tag Team Champions" I'm a fan of David Flair, but they honestly don't deserve the belts. But until The Outsiders are ready to go back to action, I don't care who holds them. Since Rey is out on injury, my choice would have been Rey and Kidman, but with them out I say go for it David and Crowbar. Even though the insane gimmick is starting to get a little annoying. Well, that's all for WCW as of right now.

Let's move on to ECW, not as big as the other feds but defiantly more brutal. It doesn't get much air time yet but it still has a big fan following. I would like to start off with RVD and Sabu, probably two of the best wrestlers in ECW, I think one of these two should be holding the World Heavyweight Championship instead of Mike Awesome. Then again I don't like Mike Awesome. I mean he's a good wrestler but men like RVD, Sabu, Sandman, Raven, Dreamer, etc., they are men who should be fighting for the gold. I do believe Spike Dudley deserved the title shot he get, I really do. I also believe the Raven and Dreamer should take out the Impact Players and get their belts back. I really wish Sandman would make amends with Raven because those three together would be unstoppable. Yes, Rhino is a big guy and pretty powerful so maybe he deserves the title shot he's asked for. But I doubt he'll win. As far as the women in ECW, I don't even want to go there right now. I haven't been watching ECW for very long so I don't have very much to say. In the future I will have more to say but right now that's all.
