Rage Against the Machine are a rock/rap band with strong lyrics. It's members are Tom Morello - guitar

Hailing from the West Coast of America, (the now defunct) Toad the Wet Sprocket take their unusual name from a Faulty Towers sketch. From their first album Bread and Circus (1989), through to their last Coil (1997), they have defied a classification in music. Their guitar tracks, haunting ballads and sometimes controversial and bizarre lyrics also coincide with pop songs that have featured on soundtrack albums such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Friends”, “Empire Records” and “So I married an Axe Murderer”. Sadly, little of their music is heard on Australian radio, and with band members going their own way, it seems my CD collection is now a collector’s item!
