The Wall

Of one mind, we set out into life
Soon, the one becomes two
One stronger, one serving
Nothing but love between us
But soon strife becomes blue
I glimpse a wall

Together, We approach the Wall
A shower so salty
A touch fills me with sorrow
Burning my heart through
Opens my mind to bittersweet reality
A wall of tears

No pain can be so great
The leaving sorrowful
As I step through the increasing waterfall
Yet hang on with my hands
Remorse fills my soul
Bitterness pulls me away

Letting go
The wall of tears surrounds me
Giving me life and taking it away
Alone, I walk towards the sun
Filled with sad memories
To find Another Wall
