At certain stages in our life we reach an apex where in order to avoid stagnation, all that's left for us to do is move on. Sometimes that which lies ahead is unknown, other times it can be part of a previously acknowledged cycle. The eight cups depicted in this card are mirrored images. The reflective quality is further enhanced by the essence of both the Sun and the Moon, each merging together in their most full and powerful glory. The upright and reversed positions are twofold, cycling between the shadows which are cast in the lightness of day to that which illuminates the darkness of night. As we move to whatever comes next, utilizing the experience of this onetime sense of fulfillment can guide us well towards our future success.
