First Generation

1. Silas GALLIMORE. Born 6 June 1819 in GA. Died 31 July 1899. 

He married Kiziah Ann "Missy Ann" DAVIS, daughter of Robert DAVIS & Elizabeth POLLARD,
18 June 1846 in Owen Co., IN by W. J. Sparks, M.G (Source: Owen County Historical
and Genealogical Society). She was born 3 May 1827 in KY. She died 27 June 1900 in Lafayette
Twp., Owen Co., IN. Buried 28 June 1900 in Cuba Cem., Owen Co., IN. 

Kiziah was a full-blooded Cherokee Indian.  She was adopted when she was small by Robert
DAVIS and Elizabeth POLLARD.  She died of organic heart disease.

They had the following children:

		i.	Mary Jane GALLIMORE (Never married); Born 15 April 1847.
                        Died 2 February 1911.

			He married Susan PRICE.

He first married Mary E. BARNES, daughter of John BARNES & Martha McNAUGHT.
They had the following children:

		ii.	Ida E. GALIMORE; Born 4 March 1874. Died 26 August 1875. 
		iii.	Calvin D. GALIMORE; Born 9 November 1875. Died 28 June 1932. 

			He married Maud PHILLIPS. 

		iv.	William Walker GALIMORE; Born 10 October 1879. Died 
July 1954. 

			He first married Gertrude PHILLIPS. 

			He second married HICKS. 

	6	v.	Silas Edward GALIMORE

He second married Hester A. ELLETT, daughter of Thomas ELLETT & Margaret BARNES.  
Born 30 December 1863 in Owen Co., IN. Died 9 March 1911 in Owen Co., IN.
Buried in Newmeyer Cem., Owen Co., IN. 

Hester died of pulmonary consumption.

3. Edward Jerrymiah GALIMORE. Son of Silas GALLIMORE & Kiziah DAVIS. Born 
8 March 1854. Died 19 October 1906. 

He first married Alice PHIPP. 
They had the following children:

		i.	Ada GALIMORE; Born 23 July 1884. 

He second married Jane FISCUS. 
They had the following children:

		i.	Ella GALIMORE; Born 27 June 1893. 

			She married BONNEWELL. 


4. Hannah E. GALLIMORE. Daughter of Silas GALLIMORE & Kiziah DAVIS. Born 
19 May 1861. Died 21 April 1936. 

She married James Irvin TAYLOR, 24 December 1888. 
They had the following children:

		i.	Viola TAYLOR; Born 2 February 1890. Died 21 February 1920. 
			
			She married John PRICE, 1910. 

			Viola and John had five children.

		ii.	James E. TAYLOR; Born 28 September 1891. 

			He married Gladys McCAULY, 27 April 1917.

He married Ida Elizabeth BARNES, daughter of William Landrum BARNES & Cynthia
WORKMAN. Born 19 January 1882. Died 26 April 1966.

7. Celesta Belle GALIMORE. Daughter of William GALIMORE & Hester Ann ELLETT. Born 10
July 1890. Died 5 February 1963. 

She married Paul WALLACE, 9 December 1916. 
They had the following children:

		ii.	Earl WALLACE

			Lives in Marion, IN.
			

8. Iris Oliver GALIMORE. Son of William GALIMORE & Hester Ann ELLETT. Born 
29 April 1894. Died 26 June 1946. 

He first married Gretchen MILLER. 
They had the following children:

			She married ?? SIMON. 

He second married Leah NEIDIFER. 

9. Hester Gertrude "Gertie" GALIMORE. Daughter of William GALIMORE & Hester 
Ann ELLETT. Born 25 September 1896. Died 6 December 1978. 

She married Donald GRAHAM, 6 July 1918. 
They had the following children:

10. Olive Leona GALIMORE. Daughter of William GALIMORE & Hester Ann ELLETT. Born 10
February 1901. Died 14 November 1969. Buried in Riverside Cem., Spencer, Owen Co., IN. 

She married Horace Wesley JOHNSON, son of Ross H. JOHNSON & Anna Belle BEAMER, 27 August
1922. Born 6 December 1902. Died 7 July 1975. Buried in Riverside Cem., Spencer,
Owen Co., IN.

Cemetery. 

She married Lester Arthur FINECY, son of Eugene Ellsworth FINECY & Dollie Jane HARTMAN,
before 1924 in Polk Co., NB. Born 17 August 1894 in Polk Co., NB. Died 5 October
1966 in Greenwood, Johnson Co., IN. Buried in Beulah Cem., Polk Co., NB. 
They were divorced 1944/1945.
