Great defensive catcher with a good arm and bat who makes clutch defensive plays behind the plate. Very dependable throwing arm against opposing base runners.

A.J Smith Senior Ht: 6-3 Wt: 195 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: 1B

Outstanding first baseman who bats consistently at .400 to .500 and has a formidable glove. Probably the best defensive first baseman in the section. An all-around athlete who was a successful football player for 5 years at KHS.

Jeremy Virag Sophomore Ht: 5-8 Wt: 180 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: 2B

All-around athlete who is a part of the sophomore middle infield at second base and is very dependable in the field. A clutch player as well who is known as the "man with the tan." Played middle linebacker and started several varsity games as a sophomore as well.

Chase Rowe Sophomore Ht: 6-1 Wt: 185 Throws-Rt Bats-Left Pos: SS-P

Perhaps one of the most athletic baseball players in the Butler area. Very dependable at shortstop and maintains a very good batting average as well, batting over .350 and batting second in the lineup. Can hit to opposite feild with power and is being scouted by several higher programs.

Nick Wise Senior Ht: 6-1 Wt: 210 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: 3B-P

Making first start as a varsity third baseman and has been very impressive in the feild as well as at the plate. Excellent arm that can throw runners out from deep ranges. Good bat with good power, has hit numerous homeruns over 350 feet including a shot at Freeport Stadium that traveled over 400 feet. Also a good pitcher with a split finger fastball.

Josh Johnson Senior Ht: 5-9 Wt: 165 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: OF

Josh Johnson, also known as "Juice" or "Juicebox", is the fastest player on the team who uses that speed to expand his natural ability. Has improved his batting and clutch at bats in his senior year and is very dependable in the outfield. A great competitor who always strives to win.

Justin Woodrow Junior Ht: 6-0 Wt: 175 Throws-Rt Bats-Left Pos: CF-P

The best overall player in Western Pennsylvania. Consistenly leads the conference in batting average and is one of the top homerun and run scoring leaders in western Pennsylvania. Is being scouted by many colleges and professional programs. Plays in an extremely competitive league in Youngstown, Ohio that exposes the best players to the best organizations in the country.

Dustin Thompson Senior Ht: 6-2 Wt: 200 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: OF-C

Mr. Versatility who can play almost anywhere on the field including catcher, third base, first base, and all of the outfield positions. Bats in the power spots in the lineup and is one of the top homerun hitters in the area.

Robert Cooper Junior Ht: 6-1 Wt: 250 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: OF-DH-P

Yes, this man has a first name. It is Robert. A clutch batter who can DH and has started in the outfield. Also a middle relief pitcher who has a good breaking ball. One of the KHS Football Team's top lineman at Offensive Gaurd.

Justin Conklin Sophomore Ht: 5-10 Wt: 165 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: OF

Sophomore who calls himself the "pimp" of Knoch Baseball. Has alot of natural athletic ability as he started varsity football as a sophomore. Has good speed and can judge fly-balls well. Excellent off the bench player who reluctantly has been brought up from the Junior Varsity Team where he was the top player.

Brandon Zitzman Senior Ht: 5-10 Wt: 210 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: DH

Brandon Zitzman, the Saxonburg Baseball Icon, has played in the SABA for over 8 years and the experience from that shows in his ability to bat in clutch situations. A powerful batter, yet able to pick spots on the field to drop base-hit singles. Also a versatile athlete who was Knoch's top defensive football player.

Knoch's starting pitcher who has over 7 wins in his varsity baseball career.

"Beaver" Ht: 6-1 Wt: 230 Pos: Manager

The ICON of Knoch athletics in that he managed varsity football, varsity basketball, varsity track/field, and now varsity baseball. Knoch Football's #1 fan, even when other peers were against the team. Plans to attend University of Pittsburgh where he will major in journalism and manage for the Pitt Panther's football team.

Jon Walker Sophomore Ht: 5-7 Wt: 175 Throws-Rt Bats-Rt Pos: P

A top sophomore Junior Varsity pitcher who has produced well for the varsity Knights by winning at Freeport, where he pitched a winning 6 innings and also showing much poise on the mound. Has good speed on his fastball and will be depended upon in the future for more pitching wins at the varsity level.

A freshman shortstop who was called upon to play at the varsity level because of his outstanding abililty and range at the shortstop position and being able to hit both ways. A Junior Varsity Star who hits in the power part of the lineup for that team. Look for this player's future for some very bright happenings at the varsity level.
