A little child was asked to pray and not remembering a prayer she recited the alphabet and closed with Amen. Later, someone asked her why she didn't say a prayer. The child replied, "My mommy told me that God knows everything. God knows all the alphabets and he can put them into words and make a prayer. Thank God for that child's mother. Her mother had already taught her child a very valuable lesson. That broken though our words might be, and no matter how mixed up our thinking, God knows what we mean. He can take the broken words and make them into the prayer that is in our hearts. -- Author Unknown |
