The question of the time period before we decide to change it:

Who is your favorite Rent actor or actress of all time and why? We'd really like to hear from you, so think hard about it and email us your answers. As you can see, we're lacking. Anyway, thanks!

My favorite RENT actor is Manley Pope because I think he's got an amazing voice, and I love his acting! My favorite actress is Loraine Velez, because she's got an extremely amazing voice, and I just love her!

Scott Hunt. I went to see RENT in Jacksonville, and I was blown away. Listening to Anthony Rapp made me in love with Mark's voice, and Scott Hunt made me fall in love with Mark. At the end I practically yelled "I'LL GO OUT WITH YOU MARK!" when he said "and I'm alone". Hehe, Scott Hunt's Tango:Maureen is unexplainable, it's just... incredible. Especially after Maureen calls Joanne "Pookie" and she turns to look at him. Scott put his hands in his pocket and turned, looking around like he was whistling... It was so adorable.

Well, if I had to chose just ONE actor, it would definitely have to be Anthony Rapp. He has an amazing voice, and he puts so much emotion into his acting. When I first heard him, Mark instantly became one of my favorite characters, because he conveyed his personality so well.

If I had to choose between all the incrediable people I've seen in RENT I would have to choose Daphne Rubin Vega as MIMI. I guess there's just something special about the original cast. Also I love her voice, it's killer. I'm going to see Rocky Horror just to hear her sing live. I love to raspy-ness quality of her voice. Also she created MIMI.She was the original and she really got to shape the character. I love to edge she gave her and the sensitivity. She also has this intense presence on stage. What else can I say...she's wonderful.

Loraine velez. She's not perfect, as jon intended his characters to be. She'll miss a cue, laugh, change something around. It makes it messy and good, it makes the show more real.. instead of them being perfect and flawless characters they are really untapped and she is just great. She really lives in that world and seems to take the show as it comes. If something funny happens she laughs, if she feels the need to do soemthing different to make the scene more beleivable she'll do it. Jon didnt want it to be some perfect show, he wanted it to be messy and real, and i think loraine really contributes to his dream. Also, she is extrelemy nice to her fans. I have talked to her many times and she's just so sweet and nice. Also, she makes eye contact with you while on srtage and it's just nice to have the actors look at their fans and appreciate them being there. Another favorite would have to be karmine alers. She is sooo amzing! She's so dedicated to the show and carries on Yaz's legacy as a great swing. Karmine adds so much attitude to whatever part she's playing, and even when she's not on she is always at the theater hanging out backstage. She stays and talks to her fans. Karmine must be the nicest actress in the cast right now. She stayed and talked to me for like a half hour once and offered to take a picture with me. She is jsut sooo soo sweet and an amzingly talented actress. I have a huge respect for the swings, especially Karmine for her dedication. She has never gotten to play a principle, but she is always there supporting her friends, and she's just really great!
