Matt has been Djing since 1996.. In the beginning it was 4 total release and fun. He made several appearances at house parties some clubs and was called in a few times as an emergency fill in DJ @ raves. Eventually Matt felt he had something to say and friends as well as promoters egged him on to share this with others. Always willing to bust an enlightening groove where ever he sees fit his growth and knowledge for the music seemed to expand very rapidly. His taste is very different and he always seems to incorporate such an original and unique style. In 1997 he was called in for an emergency fill in @ a rave. He was to play in the VIP area all night ... after getting over his fear and settling in his groove and obtaining several positive comments. He realized that to be himself and to enjoy what he does is why he was there in the first place. After that night he was way down with performing and knew it was something he could and wanted to do. Following after that night he started with some friends putting together park parties and after hour events. These were little events but he liked them best because there were no restrictions and it took less effort to put a party together. So most of the focus was on the vibe and music. Which he noticed with bigger parties this seemed to be all to often forgotten. After some of these events took place some of the promoters he knew took notice and invited him and his crew to perform @ their events. Eventually he was offered special appearances at some club nights as well as attained residencies. Sadly to say the residencies were short lived but helped continue his growth. MaTT continues to play @ parties and has now entered the domain of producing his own music . His music is different and to be honest his DJ skills are not just yet at the place where he can truly express what his mind demands. With the combination though, he is becoming more educated in the sounds he calls home and is fulfilling what seems to be his thirst for music. His style is abstract his sound is atmospheric and his message is deep. Below are some of the raves, parties and special guest appearances he has encountered along the road he travels.
