The AFL Web Ring was created on 3/1/97. My name is John O'Grady and I am the founding member of the Australian Football League Web Ring. For those of you who don't know what a web ring is, it is basically just a link on the bottom of a web page that links to another AFL Web page which is then linked to another AFL web page and so on until it gets to the end then it starts again. Thats why it's called a Ring.

I created the AFL web ring so that each of the AFL pages will be joined together in a community sort of thing and not all just siting by themselves out in cyberspace.

Since the rings birth it has grown to a huge size and has now over two hundred Australian Football related pages linked together! So if you think your page is ready to join the other elite web pages on the AFL Web Ring, then goto the Join the AFL Web Ring page.
