The Wheel of Time Mud, ways to stat/ tips

NOTE: this is not a walk through for newbies to read and expect to be great! befor staring off on the mud read "rules" and directions on how to play at www.wotmud.org no one will feel for you if you didn't read the rules! so read em!

1 from the circle of light (human) go down after typing "tell guardian kit"and "wear all" AND reading "help newbie" you are ready to start a new character

2 now go n e till you get to inside east gate of caem from there you go s till the screen befor the watch tower, head west about 4 times till you can go south, go south and you will be at the south gate.

3 Type "call" to open the gate and head south. head south and you will find alot of game to kill. If you get to the village of kinntara (not spelled right) you can head south west where lots of cute brown deer are. You can stat there in about an hour!

4 anytime you gain a level you can go back to caem to the practice if you need (i never prac till level sence at level 5 you have a prac reset)

What should I kill?

well anythign that wont kill u! here is a list of some things to kill: cute brown deer, foxes, ravens/rats, i ussaly kill deer to stat its about 205 exp per deer and they dotn fight back :)

things not to kill: anythign in town, people will kill u if u kill cats, dogs, beggers, drunks.... anyhign in town should not be killed! If i see u killign anythign in town(or anyone for that matter) we will get a on your case! do dotn do it!

After you stat

Once you have stated you will want to practice. If you are a warrior (best for a newbie to this mud) i recament the following prac items:

at warrior prac: your weapon of choice till 99% (i choose long swords)

At ranger practice: survival (level 2 or 3)

If you have any left I would place them in ride at ranger or in shield parry at warrior

Now you are ready to start leveling!

Tip # 1 make friends. If you have friend they can help you and fight with you.

Tip #2 ok you got friends... but how do you talk to them? I have icq, a messanger program that you can download from www.icq.com
