Facts:
Prove Yourself True, or Pyt, is a new very talented girl group, who just poped out of the "Sun Shine" state.
Though Ashley, Tracy, Lauren, and Lydia are only 14 years old, but they have been friends for many years. They have all grown up together performing at the "Entertainment Revue."
In early January of '99, Tracy and Lauren were scanning through a popular teen magizine and found an contest article saying "Become a Pop Diva". Then that's when Tracy thought of the idea of putting the group together. She told the rest of the girls about her idea and the contest, and they started the group.Because they needed to send a demo in for the contest they begged the owner(Ms.Gries) of their music school, "Entertainment Revue", to help them record a song and send in the demo. Finally, she gave into their pleas and had them record a song she had written some time ago.
The day after the girls had sent in the demo, Gries got a call from a Sony Record Producer, who she had gotten in touch with before with another teen group,and he was looking for a teen girl group. She said she had just the right girls for him.
Within a week the girls performed for the producer, and were signed to Sony records. Sony pired them up with teen sansation manager, Johnny Wright. Within the next few weeks, the girls (who were now PYT) were on the rode touring with N Sync and Britney Spears!
