In a lovers dream I feel you nearing
through foggy mist and into the deep
I lay amidst the wooded clearing
I feel you watching, as I sleep
Wild Rose perfumes laden the air
Sweet melodies echo as the earth softly sings
Love's energy flows within and without
Feeling one with everything
In a space between the dreamer and dream
I lay in this timeless, mystical place
as the vision of sunlight brightly streams
through supple leaves like golden lace
I yearn for you to join me here
For only you may know this place
and feel the dream becoming clear
when you reach to touch the god/dess's face
I arise from bed of violet and fern
The wind is whispering an ancient song
Calling us to listen and learn
It beckons us home, where we belong
Flocks of doves are on the wing
kissing skies of white and blue
Where horses all run wild and free
I wistfully smile, as I look back at you
Hear the thunder of hooves as I ride away
My heart's as free as the horse I'm upon
With arms outstretched wide to part the mist
I'm on my way home to Avalon

Inner Goddess
We touch the stars
and are the bridge
'tween Heaven and Earth
as we lovingly recall
the ancient rite of our fabulous birth
and who we truly are...
For we Are the Stardust
of our Heavens sublime
~a glimmering point
in the matrix of time
As we weave our dreams
with gossimer thread
like the delicate designs
of a spider's web
If we Are the Peace we feel within
and send it gently on the wind
it can reach the world near and far
for this is truly who we are.....

ELEMENTAL
Air
Feel the Goddess whisper
Feathery wind brushes your cheek
ever so lightly like a soft kiss
touched by her sweet breath of life
Fire
Feel the warmth of her spirit
as you look deep into the fire of her soul
crackling flames rising higher and higher
freely, intensly transforming you
into the light of God
Earth
Feel her strength
as you lie on her earthen body
her presence ever near, supporting you,
giving completely of herself
sealed with a promise of gentle trust
Water
Feel her nurse you
as you swim in her waters
like a child who has been hurt
runs to mother's unconditional love
accommodating you, surrounding you
engulfing you in the bliss of mother's womb

HEALING AND REBIRTH
Transgressing deep
within undefined boundries
darkness envelopes
shadows caress
A very dark corner of my soul indeed...
where time stands still
~In eternal silence I bleed
In a dark musty place
absent of light
moist from the tears
of dreams that have died
A death of the spirit
has come to pass
licking my wounds
there is nowhere to hide
To meld together
old with the new
light with the dark
is what I must do
Fragments of me
to become whole at last
a fallen angel
mending present with past
Call my spirit home...
into the present moment
arms outstretched wide
embracing the darkness
I no longer can hide
Sparks of white light
healing deep from within
illumines corners
and dissipates shadows
A fiery thing
that burns with love
turning past into ashes
~Blessed gift from above
A fallen angel
finding the way home
speaks only of love
for past is no longer
I gather my spirit
so I become stronger
God/dess within me
touch all that I do
Let your loving light
always shine through.

Trespassers
Unwelcome trespassers lurk in the night
where ghosts of lovers long past
tread the dimly lit corridors of the heart
Footsteps echoing in eerie silence
as they relentlessly near their mark
Ever taunting, Ever unforgiving
Apparitions in dark faceless robes
Holding secret vigil
Chanting haunted memories in whispered voices
Droning into one unearthly cry
Echoing louder and louder
I draw my sword to cut them down
And slice through the air again and again
Connecting with only dark empty space.
As new love stands in eternal limbo....
Pleading for release
Like winter seeds lying dormant
under the surface of the
Cool moist dark earth
Awaiting impatiently
for the sun to warm them
And set them free at last

PAUSE
My heart stops still
as it falls into the pregnant pause
between all you cannot say......
and all I cannot ask...

THE HEAVENS
The heavens shook violently
and opened up wide
They weep stardust tears
for the earthly crime
of lives misused for all to see
A loss so deadly
for all it would touch
the lost little lambs
that matter so much
The bull stampedes
trampeling all in its path
The Medusa grins slyly
showing her wrath
as she snakes her way through...
While crab eats itself inside out
with nary a clue
of the interconnectedness
...of all that will come
and all that was.....
and shall be undone
Enveloped in darkness
they can't run, or hide
no matter how far, how quick
from the pain they inflict
or the poison they spew
The ill winds of change
are circling back
...right on cue
Lost chances to give,
instead of receive
have tainted their lives
and all they believe
Missed opportunities,
of compassion and kindness
to forgive one another...
they embrace their own blindness
INJUSTICE!!! They cry!
with hurt indignation
Yet don't understand why,
-that it's all self created
The finger they point at others in rage
Points back at themselves...
-A self made cage
Gifts from the angels
discarded, tossed aside
From illusions of pain they harbor
Vengance deep inside
Eating away at the soul
and leaving an echo,
a black endless hole
The angels; they weep
from the heavens they come...
Yet we cut off the finger
in spite of the thumb
If only time could stand still
for a brief moment till
we realize what we do
Before humanity falls
We cover our ears
not hearing the call...
To dance in the fire
and become the flame
transform into smoke
floating gently on air
We leap from the cliff...
Together we fly
and unfold our new wings
Rising phoenix transforming
seeing at last,
the true nature of things
and Oh... to ride the soft Goddess wind
To create the future,
and live once again.

BRAMBLES
She seeks to open the door
to the beauty of her soul
Behind the brambles
she hides, with one eye open,
one eye closed
Fearful of thorns
she cautiously reaches...
but as thorns tear her heart
she quickly retreats
vowing never again to reach...
Then love begins to draw her out
beckoning her seductively
discuised as her lover
of many lifetimes
To give the love that's been locked away
deep in her heart for eternities
like a voiceless song
a distant memory
There, lives the love
with every breathfull
growing stronger each day...
Oh how she longs to be free
to experience the love that awaits
just outside of the bramble...

Golden sunrise
beckons the day
You're on your way
with new magik in hand
throwing only a glance
behind you
To shake the yesterdays
off of your shoulder
and seal the past
with freedom's kiss
A new path unfolds
creating your fate

of happy times and bliss
Born of your wildest dreams...

THE SPIDER
A fog rolled in one cold rainy day
that hovered with longing
but was thick with dismay
In the middle of the fog,
lay a glistening web
that glowed in the air
like a beacon so bright
It shimmered and glistened,
refracting the light
Drawing in those who dared
trespass into the fog,
lay a predator discuised
as someone who cared
Patiently awaiting
to capture your soul
enticing you,
luring you into it's web
A spider whos ego needs to be fed
to trap you, and wrap you
in silvery strands
Love's illusion so deep
you don't know that you've bled
Until its too late...
When the fog clears away
and you're desperately entangled
struggling to hold scalding tears at bay
Alone in the web,
Your soul scared and mangled
from the grip of the spider
who has now gone away...

Love is
and portrays many faces
no matter who or what it graces
transcends all time and spaces
until it rests briefly within a willing heart
It's always there
whether it hides within walls
or shines like a beacon
on a stormy night
Love resides within the heart
like a small bird
whos wings flutter in the palm of your hand
awaiting the signal to fly
Love can be
all inclusive and shattered into a billion stars
that glitter throughout the universe
Love is fragile
and can swiftly change direction
in the blink of an eye
It is warmth and caring
like the feeling of firelight
as the heat
lightly flushes your face
Love lives forever
but if not cherished and held in your heart and soul
can disappear into the morning mist
like a elusive dream
It has the strength of an old oak
and the flowing softness of an ocean wave.
Love is pure energy that multiplies
when given freely
the more it is given,
the more is received
Love is infinately abundant
in the heart that stays open
and willing to share it
As it keeps the energy flowing
making an endless loop
between you and I

SOLITARY HUNTER
The invisible is visible
to those who will see
but fading oh so gracefully
with or without...
the journey continues,
and faith will prevail
as the brush clears
and the path is taken
by one solitary hunter

THE GODDESS STIRS
Today I felt the Goddess stir
as your soul touched mine briefly
In a fleeting moment I glimpsed her
as she awakened slightly in me
I felt the magik of spirits mingling
forming the power of one
ecstacy bringing forth life force
shared by bodies entwined in
love and friendship
Goddess awakening
and knows no bounds
gifts of the spirit
laced with love through infinity
breaking free of physical bonds
escaping into timeless seas...

Throw open the windows of the Heart
Inviting in sweet scented breezes
to softly caress your spirit
and clear away cobwebs
Warm rays of sunshine
fill the room with love's golden glow
Melting ice into pools of clear water
that reflect the crystalline purity of the soul

Connections of love, so deeply rooted
Earth and I...

Spirit within Spirit
One within one, reflective of each other
Feeling the pain,
... is the land that lays barren
Patiently awaiting ...
outpouring rains
of unshed tears to heal one another.
Unleashing fury of a stormy soul
again and again
... till the winds subside
as healing waters quench her thirst
She drinks it in deeply,lovingly
In the gentle calmness of Mother Earth
springs the silence of an eternal moment
Where murky waters of illusional sorrow transform
...into a wellspring of pure joy
that nurtures the seeds of change
enhancing the true inner beauty
Heart to Heart, Spirit within Spirit,
One within one, my spirit soars

The Book
Have you ever tried to read a book
That reads a different way?
The passages get jumbled up,
the words in disarray.
The chapters jump from this, to that
and endings to and fro...
Beginnings are re-written
at least you think that's so!
It's still a book you can't put down
no matter how you try.
It's tucked so neatly in your heart
and lives there till you die.
The lesser characters often change,
but there's two that never will....
the star crossed lovers will remain
for they are what is real.
To find the moral of this story
Is a daunting task indeed
Do you read between the lines? Or not?
To satisfy your need.
When all is said, and all is done
And empty words are spoken,
true love will always stay the same
and bonds remain unbroken
