What do I need to play the game?

 

Ok, so you like what you've seen so far?  Great, lets take a look at what you'll need as far as computer hardware to play Motocross Madness 2 when it hits shelves in May.

Note: these system requirements are subject to change and may differ slightly when Motocross Madness 2 is available for purchase.

Operating System:
Pentium II 266 with 32 MB RAM or PII 233 with 32MB RAM and 8 MB or better hardware acceleration
Windows 95 or higher with DirectX 7
Quad-speed CD ROM
Hard drive space - 70 MB for minimum installation
Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device
Sound board with speakers or headphones to hear audio
DirectSound compatible 3D sound board to hear 3D audio
28.8 Kbps modem for internet play (Note: internet play also requires 64 MB RAM)

 

Compatibles:
Supports force-feedback hardware compatible with Microsoft DirectInput® (Win 95)
Supports MMX™ and AGP technology
Graphics accelerator card compatible with Microsoft Direct3D™ (on Windows 95)

Now that you've seen what you have to have to play MCM 2, we'll tell you what is the ideal system for it.  Trust us, if you had a system like the one mentioned above, your 250 would feel like a KX60.

 

Ideal System:

Intel Pentium II/III/Celeron or AMD Athlon CPU at least 450 MHz with 128MB RAM
Windows 98 or higher with DirectX 7
32X or faster CD-ROM
At Least 400 MB's of Hard Drive Space
Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device
Aureal A3D Compatible or Creative Labs SB Live! Sound Card with Quad Speakers.
For good looking 3D Graphics, you'll need a 3D Card like: 3dfx's Voodoo 3-4-5, nVidia Riva TNT 2 or GeForce 256, or Matrox G400 3D Cards
56K Kbps modem or broadband connection (like DSL, Cable) for internet play.
Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick.. Like the Precision Pro or Force Feedback Pro
