"Yes really Lucky. But we have to make a deal. I can't stop working, I want to move to Port Charles with you and the boys and I've called Mac Scorpio, he offered me Dara Jenson's job, she married Taggert and doesn't want to work anymore. Thats my offer, I get to take that job and I'll move."
"Well Elizabeth, you can see the boys on the holidays then, because my answer is no."
"YOU CAN"T DO THIS!" She screams and sits up.
"Elizabeth get back here." Lucky says calmly.
She hesitates but lays down.
"Now listen to me. You've missed so much of thier lives already, Justin asked me the other day if he should call your secretary to schedule his birthday. Elizabeth you've let what Tom did to you control you, and I was able to deal with it when it was just you and I and we were kids. But we're not, we've been married 10 yrs and I won't let you keep doing this to me or the boys again. You've done that for 4 years now Elizabeth. I want more. We deserve more from you."
"OH you Tarzan me Jane." Elizabeth mocks him.
"Elizabeth do you realize what you've been putting me through? Did watching that tape not show you anything? You don't get it do you? I want my Elizabeth back, not Mrs Webber-Spencer, attorney at law."
"OK Lucky - since you've been laying the law down - when do I get a choice in this."
"You have the choice of moving to PC with us to be part of this family or staying here in NY alone. The boys and I are moving, there is nothing for us here."
"I'm nothing Lucky?" Elizabeth cries.
"You are the most beautiful, precious and perfect woman I know when you are Elizabeth, my wife, mother of our children. But Elizabeth I need you, I need my baby back, I can't take it anymore, raising the boys by myself, sleeping on the couch because I can't bare the bed without you in it.
Not able to bare the bed with you in it because you cowar from me. Elizabeth its my turn to be greedy, I want all of you back. I want forever Elizabeth just like we vowed when we were 16."

"Sly - I'm sorry." Cas says as she walks into his study.
"What did you do this time Cassandra?"
"I kissed someone."
"Fine." Sly stands up and walks into the bathroom and grabs a new bar of soap. "Cassie come here."
She follows his voice and walks into the bathroom.
"Sit down Cassandra." Sly says coldly.
She does and Sly takes the bar of soap and rubs it over her lips as she fights him off.
"Open your mouth." He orders.
"NO"
"Open your mouth and suck on this soap or get the fuck out of our house, I'll be damned if I'll touch or kiss you until you are clean of his touch, his kiss." Sly almost cries.
"Sly"
"NO - damn you Cassandra, I've given you all of me, I've never yelled I've never lost my temper with you, you get hugged and kissed all the time, I make love to you daily or more if you want it, I bring you flowers home for no reason - I'm a damn good husband, I'm the best husband I know -why would you fucking do this to me? Why do you want this to end so bad? What have I ever done to you to make you want to hurt me like this? Why Cassie, why must I feel anymore pain in my life, haven't I dealt with enough?"

"Sly I dont want this to end - I lied I didn't kiss someone I just wanted a reaction out of you." Cassandra says to him.
"Damn you Cassandra. What fucking thrill do you get from playing with my heart huh? What have I ever done so wrong that makes you do this to me?" Sly asks hurt, he throws the soap into the tub and it breaks into a million pieces, he walks out and walks downstairs.
"Sly for all the years I've known you - you've never raised your voice to me. But lately Sly you've gotten calmer if thats possible. It scared me Sly I was scared you were going to walk out like my dad did. He got really passive before he walked out because he had found a new woman. I got scared." She starts to cry.
"No Cas - you got stupid. You got careless and dumb. Instead of talking to me cos we all know what a hard ass I am when it comes to you. Instead of opening your mouth when you were in my arms on the couch any number of nights you got stupid. When would I have the time for an affair? Tell me that - I'm at work or I'm here both places are verifiable. I won't pay for the mistakes of another Cas. I'm your husband I deserve your trust because I've never broken my word to you- ever." Sly says still fuming.
"I know Sly, I'm sorry." Cassie says softly.
"Cas if you had lived my life you would know why I've been so passive with you. But you crossed the line- lying to me. Lying about being unfaithful, just to get a reaction. What reaction you looking for Cassandra? Do you want me to yell and scream? Kick and hollar? Slap you? What the hell do you want from me?" Sly inhales. "Obviously you have no desire to be loved completely. You just sabotaged that. You had me wrapped around your little finger. You had me willing to do anything - anything that is accept your betrayal. How could you use something so scared against me just to get a reaction? Cassandra- you know - you know that I've never done anything before you. I had never french kissed another girl, I had never touched another girl, or let one touch me, and I gave you my innocence in our wedding bed, along with my trust. That obviously meant nothing to you." Sly looks at her physically upset.
"That isn't true Sly, your innocence and trust mean the world to me. I just got stupid. I'm sorry."
"I'm not so sure sorry is good enough." Sly says in tears.

Sly leaves Cas and goes directly to Em. He and Emily talk about the love they want. The love they both deserve.
"Emmy I dont' need her hurting me like this. Haven't I dealt with enough?" Sly asks holding Em's hand with his head on her shoulder.
"Sly you deserve so much more. You deserve the sky and the moon and all the stars above. After living through what you did. I mean I lost my parents but you watched your father get shot in front of you. Your mom dying when you were little. Sly you deserve a woman who will appreciate you and who will rejoice in your love." Emily says as she runs her hand through his hair.
"Emmy - I just want forever."
"I know Sly - I know." She holds him and lets him cry.
A little while later he walks over to the old Spencer house. He sees Lucky pull up in front of the place.
"God I am so happy to see you Luck."
"Whats wrong Sly?" Lucky asks concerned for his 'brother'.
"I need to talk to you." Sly says almost in tears.
Lucky hears the frustration and leaves the boys with his parents and takes a walk with Sly.
"So spill."
Sly opens up and reitterates for Lucky what happened between he and Cas. How she told him she' d kissed someone else and how she admitted she lied.
"Sly - do you love your wife?" Lucky asks.
"Yes of course I do." Sly states instantly.
"Do you think you would be happier without her in your life?" Lucky asks.
"OF course not I'd be miserable."
"Well then Sly - I think you have to forgive her. You have to fight for what you want in this life in your marriage. Let me explain women." Lucky starts.
"OH this I've gotta hear" Sly sits down next to Lucky on the loading dock for the Jr High School.
"Sly this is what I've figured out about Elizabeth in the 12 yrs I've been with her. She's beautiful, precious, petite, loving and perfect in all ways but a few. And I think this is true for all women. They just don't get it Sly. ITs not thier fault either. Its just that they've been told since day one - everything worth having is hard to get. You know the whole thing with them bearing children, in order for thier bodies to be ready for that they get periods for years before that. So they dont' understand that a man can love them so completely without there having to be pain first. Elizabeth is guilty of this and I bet Cas is." Lucky puts his arm on Sly's shoulder for emphasis. "Thier whole lives they dream and fantasize about a man that will love them unconditionally. When they get it - they freak and start acting out until the man that would die for them puts conditions on his love to protect his own heart."
"So how do I fix the hole in my heart." Sly asks.
"Thats hard Sly. I actually threated to leave Elizabeth that if our family didn't come first she could stay in NY and work and we'd move to PC. It seemed to work- she compromised with the work issue."
"Lucky whats the compromise on this one? What do I say - ok Cas you can lie just not about that issue."
"NO Sly - this one I think you bite the bullet on - make her sleep on the couch for a few days - let it sink in that her bullshit is not going to fly."
"I gotta go fight this out with her Luck- I can't loose her-" Sly says and walks home.

Sly walked into the house to find it emaculatly clean and quiet. There were lit candles around the room and obviously thier daughter was out of the house. Cas walked around the corner in Sly's white button down shirt and nothing else.
"Seducing me will get us both off but do you really think its an appropriate way to apologize?" Sly says trying to sound stern.
"NO Sly - I dont' think seducing you is the answer, but I do think that dressing like this - the way you love seeing me is a start. I love you Sly, I'm sorry for the lie I told you. I'm sorry for the pain I caused and I want you to know that I will never do something that stupid again. When you walked out earlier Sly - I got to thinking I can't do without you Sly. I wouldn't know how to be alone nor would I want to try. So I wrote something for you. And I'm also going to do something else that I've only ever done for you - sing."
Cas closes her eyes and silently prays Sly accepts her apology.

"Come here." Sly says from the couch.
Cas slowly walks over to him and he pulls down so that she straddles his lap. "Sly I'm so sorry."
"Don't ever do it again. Please dont' hurt me anymore." Sly almost begs.
"I wont' Sly - I promise - I know now I can't do it without you. I love you." She kisses him. Both of them crying for the love they found, for the love they almost lost. Both of them knowing that kiss is taking them home. Home to one another.

"Elizabeth? How nice to see you - please come in." Laura says as her daughter in law shows up - a good 5 hrs after her son and grandchildren.
"HI Laura. Are my men here?"
"Yes Lucky is putting his sons to bed." She says coldly.
"They are my sons too."
"Start acting like it." Laura says and walks away.
Elizabeth walks up the stairs to Lucky's old room and walks in. She sees Lucky tucking in Justin and Michael reading a book.
"Its bedtime Mr - put the book away til tomorrow." Elizabeth says walking up to his bunk.
"OK mommy." Michael says with a smile and gives her a kiss. Lucky turns to smile at her as well when he hears her voice.
"Mommy" Justin says from the bottom bunk.
Elizabeth kneels down and gives him a kiss. "Night Justin, mommy loves you."
'Are you going to be here when I wake up." He yawns.
"Yes baby, mommy will be right here."
"Good." He says and dozes off.
Lucky and Elizabeth walk out of the room and Lucky takes her hand in his as they walk downstairs to the couch, which is made into a bed.
"I'm glad you were here for that. I didn't want to try to explain where you were." He says matter of factly.
"Lucky I thought about what you said. My job isnt' worth losing you - or the kids. I'll quit working full time. Can I still work part time - or is that not allowed either?"
"Elizabeth I want you to be a member of this family, if you feel like you need to work so be it - but be here for us to. I need my wife, I didn't marry you just so I could tell the world I'm married. I married you because I can't survive without you."
"Did you change your tune or am I just finally starting to listen?"
"Elizabeth, I am demanding only one thing from you. That one thing is that I stop paying for Tom Baker's crime. I would never ever hurt you and I want to have your complete trust on that."
"Lucky - give me one more week tops. I'm working on this inside of me - I need to deal with it first before I can overcome it ok?"
"Ok angel. Come to bed." Lucky says crawling into bed.
Elizabeth gets in bed from the other side and cuddles up to him. "I love you Lucky - I truly do."
"I know baby, I love you." Lucky holds her tight, praying that what she told him tonight was true, that she really was going to change. That she was really going to give him all of her trust.
