Sweet Kids is a Support group for children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. This group serves Porter & Lake Counties located in NW Indiana. In March of 1999, I started this group as a way to involve my child Alex with other children who were dealing with the same battle that he was and to share with their families. It is an informal group, we have no funding and collect no fees. We meet when and where we can, usually every other month.
