"WWF boss Vince McMahon is very proud that his business - presenting prime-time porn to kids on USA Network - is going so well. Fox, long rumored to be eager to buy into the WWF, has no problem accepting McMahon's money in exchange for peddling his junk to the nation's largest TV audience. The fact of the matter is that the WWF on USA has become so lurid that no mass-circulation daily newspaper can describe exactly what's seen and performed or quote exactly what's said and chanted on these shows."

There has been a few reports that the British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart have signed with the WWF for $275,000 each. Rumours that they will team up with Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett to make the Hart Foundation.

Shawn Michaels' Surgury A Success

Despite rumors which popped up on the 'net a week or so ago, Shawn Michaels back surgury, in which his fourth and fifth vertebre were fused togeather, was a complete success.

"It was very difficult and it took a lot longer than we expected, but he's doing very well," said Dr. Pablo Vasquez, who with Dr. Thomas Kingman operated on Michaels.

Shawn has indeed announced his retirement from active ring activity, however has stated that he will stay on with the Stamford based Titan Sports, Inc. as World Wrestling Federation Commissioner. That coupled with Michaels plans to open a pro-wrestling training facility, which he will operate with friend and former pro-wrestler Jose Lethario, will keep him busy.

Right now, the retirement from the ring is a necessity. Dr. Vasquez said any return to the ring by Michaels "would put too much pressure on the remaining disks."

Shawn Michaels has reportedly told his longtime friend Kevin Nash that he feels that he has five matches left in him, however if they do take place it wouldn't be until late 1999.

Michaels will need anywhere from eight to sixteen months in order to fully recover from the surgury.
