(6) Due to a controversial title match between Bob Holly and Jeff Jarrett earlier in the card, the title was held up, and this match filled the vacancy.
(7) Shwn Michaels forfeited the title to Dean Douglas (his schedueled opponent that night) because he was injured and could not defend his title. Razor Ramon was to take his place in the title match.
(8) Due to a controversial title match between Goldust and Savio Vega the week before, the title was held up, and this match filled the vacancy.
(9) Ahmed Johnson would later forfeit his title when he was injured at the hands of Faarooq, and could not defend it. A tournament was schedueled to fill the vacancy.
