Kids' Firefighter Combat Challenge

Washington City Firefighter Kurt Behme spearheaded a joint-venture with Daviess County Step Ahead to provide the Firefighters Combat Challenge for area youth. Ages six to 12 years participate(with a lot of fudging). Members of IAFF #495 provide support to the program by volunteering their time for the kids. IAFF # 495 also staffed the Vincennes Twp. VFD Safety house this Spring at East Side Park.
